conventional potato chips is the method of cooking. Hardbite means kettle
cooked by hand, the old fashion way, batch by batch. Through storage,
potatoes change the moisture and sugar content. Regular adjustments
have to be made to cooking times and temperatures. The HARDBITE
tm POTATO CHIPS brand is made with non hydrogenated mid oleic
vegetable oils. It offers a balanced fatty acid profile, high on monounsaturates
that include a reasonable level of polyunsaturated fat (linoleic - an
essential fatty acid ) that is low in saturated fat. It has one of the
highest alpha-tocopherol contents in plant oils, making it a good source
of natural Vitamin E. We do not use chemical
de-foamers, additives, or other synthetic agents added in processing
